Rick Williams proudly serves the 145th Georgia District, covering Baldwin County and portions of Putnam County, in the Georgia House of Representatives. Rick has a demonstrated life-long commitment to service by investing countless hours to community organizations dedicated to solving problems, improving individuals' lives, and working toward strengthening the community for all. Most recent service memberships include the Milledgeville Kiwanis Club, Benevolent Lodge #3 F&AM, Al Shiah Shrine, and the Voter Registration Association of Georgia.
With a 45 year history of being a successful business owner, Rick followed in his father's footsteps and carries on his father's legacy in a meaningful career in the funeral service industry.
While operating the family business alongside his dad, Rick continued service to the community in diverse roles, including Chairman on the, then named, Mayor's Committee of Hiring the Handicapped, Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Milledgeville, Baldwin County Commission Chairman, and Chief Registrar of Baldwin County. Rick and Donna live in Baldwin County, Georgiaand attend the First United Methodist Church of Milledgeville. They have two sons, a daughter, and seven grandchildren, who are his motivation to serve with conservative, caring leadership to champion protection of families, education initiatives, and responsible business enterprise in the state of Georgia.
Rick serves on the Georgia House of Representatives Appropriations Committee, Governmental Affairs Committee, Committee on Higher Education, Committee on Intragovernmental Coordination, Committee on Public Safety & Homeland Security, Committee on Regulated Industries, and as Chairman of the Regulated Industries Sub-Committee on Alcohol & Tobacco.
